What is it?
The Accenture Adventure—two intense but rewarding days during winter vacation—has been the incubator for impressive talent. A small group of graduate students will be selected to participate in this dynamic work experience, where these top performers will have the opportunity to showcase their innovative thinking, can-do attitude, team spirit and leadership skills.
Students will receive first-hand coaching and mentoring from Accenture senior leadership, insight into technology and management consulting and have the opportunity to meet and network with the highest performers in the country.
Why participate?
Successfully showcase your skills alongside South Africa’s best and brightest young minds and you will be fast-tracked through our graduate application process. With a large number of students graduating in South Africa each year, this can help you stand out from the crowd and be greater than your degree.
Minal Pharboo, who is now a business analyst within Accenture, participated in the Accenture Adventure while completing her Honours in Information Systems at Wits University. She took top honours in the competition and was presented with an Apple iPad 3. Read more from Minal below.
Shelly-Ann Pieterse, a facilitator at the 2012 event, was thrilled by the opportunity to interact with the group of top students. “They exceeded my expectations,” she said. “They were intelligent, motivated and engaged. We got to see them interact with their peers in a manner which would not be possible in the standard interview process.” The Accenture Adventure is your chance to get ahead of the curve and secure your graduate position in 2014 or 2015.

This year, the Accenture Adventure takes place in Johannesburg and Cape Town. There are a limited number of seats so it’s important that you put your best effort into your application. You will need to be a final year or penultimate year student with a 65 percent average in order to apply.
