As the cashier you will ensure the prompt and accurate processing of customer orders at POS and assist with various other in–store duties to ensure the smooth functioning of the store. As such you will be responsible for ensuring amongst others:

• Proper operating of the POS and related systems
• Proper cash handling and cash up procedure
• Excellent and prompt customer service
• Loss prevention
• General in – store assistance

Ideally you would possess the following:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• 1-3 years experience in a similar position
• Excellent communication skills ( written and verbal)
• A passion for customer service
• Ability to be muti-skilled in various in – store activities

You will require

• The ability to work irregular hours and / or shifts
• Clear criminal record
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
• POS experience ( Micros)
