This is a graduate traineeship opportunity available at Umgeni Water which is located in Durban. The purpose of the job is to provide recently graduating engineers with experience and training which will further their knowledge of engineering and transform it into marketable skills.
The program will require the trainee adapting to the engineering work environment and will also provide exposure to relevant engineering practices under the mentorship of a senior Process Engineer. The graduate engineer is expected to register with ECSA as a Candidate engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Provision of Process engineering spport for operations (Portable water and Waste water treatment)
- Research and Development
- Process Trouble-shooting
- Process design
- Environmental engineering
Requirements:
- BSc Eng. (Chemical)
- Proficient in the use of computer software including Office
- Key behavioural attributes and knowledge.
